Inspired by the resounding success of the Piano Revenge Festival in Paris, this ambitious project comes to life through the vision and passion of Anna Bondareva, the festival’s artistic director, who dreams of extending this unique experience beyond the borders of France.

On January 14, 2026, the magnificent Ca’ Sagredo Hotel in Venice—a breathtaking 15th-century palazzo—will open its doors to host this inaugural event. Nestled in the heart of the Floating City, this iconic venue, steeped in history and elegance, will provide an enchanting setting where music and architectural grandeur intertwine.

This project has been made possible through the invaluable collaboration of Modern Classical Music Magazine, represented by its co-founders Edoardo Gastaldi and Davide Fasiello, whose dedication and expertise have been essential in bringing this initiative to life. Together, we have envisioned a series of intimate and exclusive concerts, showcasing five extraordinary pianists who will perform captivating works that blend tradition and modernity.

Pianist and sonic architect Anna Bondareva constructs an auditory tapestry that is simultaneously lyrical, dramatically potent, and imbued with an ineffable mysticism, thereby expanding the frontiers of contemporary piano music into unexplored aesthetic realms. Her artistic praxis draws upon a metaphysical inquiry—the pursuit of the inner voice and intuitive cognition—a transcendent odyssey that surpasses the material domain to interrogate the very nature of self-awareness and the ontological foundations of creative authenticity.
